We are a yoga shala based in Koh Phangan, Thailand.
An open-air space surrounded by nature, created for focused and consistent practice.
Our work is rooted in discipline, lineage, and daily repetition.
We believe that yoga is built over time — through effort, attention, and presence.
This is a space for those who want to commit to the process
Michael Zunini is the founder of Boiler Room and a teacher of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga and Vinyasa Krama, with more than 24 years of dedicated practice.
His path is grounded in traditional Ashtanga, developed through years of disciplined study in India at the Shri K Pattabhi Jois Ashtanga Yoga Institute under the guidance of R. Sharath Jois, along with teachers such as John Scott, Rolf Naujokat, and Matthew Vollmer.
Through continuous study and experience, and later influenced by the Atapa Krama method, he developed an approach that integrates Ashtanga Vinyasa and Vinyasa Krama — combining structure, breath, and progressive sequencing.
His teaching is based on discipline and consistency, while remaining attentive and respectful to each individual’s process.
He supports students in building a practice that is stable, conscious, and sustainable over time.
Camila Royo brings more than 20 years of personal practice and over 15 years of teaching experience.
Her work is defined by precision, adaptability, and depth.
She has taught internationally across Asia, Europe, and South America, including leading Mysore programs in Japan, where she supported students from diverse backgrounds.
At Boiler Room, she holds the Mysore program and daily classes, offering individual guidance and support throughout the practice.
Her approach is clear and grounded — helping each student understand their body, refine their practice, and develop consistency with awareness.
